Nixle's Community Information Service helps keep you and your family safe, informed, and connected to your community 24/7.

With Nixle emergency alerts, important advisories, and community updates, you receive up-to-date information impacting the areas near you by cell phone, e-mail and on the web.  Residents can register at www.nixle.com to participate in this program. There is no cost to participate in this program for the Sheriff's Office and for the public.  Many other local police jurisdictions in McHenry County also provide notifications through Nixle.  Nixle emergency alerts is a nationwide program.  You can register to receive notification from other states as well where you may have love one's residing.  It helps you stay informed.
