the McHenry County Correctional Facility has closed their front lobby area, and suspended all on-site video visitation. In place of the on-site visits, we are now offering 1 Free off-site video visit to each Inmate/Detainee for the time being. Each Inmate/Detainee can receive 1 Free off-site video visit per week. Additional visits will be offered at the standard cost.

The McHenry County Correctional Facility currently uses the Video Visitation system called ICSolutions (www.icsolutions.com) The ICSolutions visitation system allows you to have face-to-face visits on your home computer or mobile device. All you need is a mobile device with a front-facing camera, high-speed internet connection, speakers and a microphone.

All Video Visitation will be at a cost of $12.50 per visit, up to a maximum of 25 minutes per visit.

 On-Site visits are limited to two (2) visitors per visit. Visitor must be seventeen (17) years of age or accompanied by an adult. Proof of age may be required if there are questions regarding the visitor's age.

Jail On-Site Lobby Visiting Schedule

The McHenry County Jail On-Site Lobby will be open for video visitation pre-registration during the following hours.
Everyday
9:00 AM - 9:30 PM

Inmates/Detainee will only be available for video visitation during the following times slots
9:00 AM - 10:30AM
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
5:00 PM - 8:30 PM
   

The McHenry County Correctional Facility will allow each Inmate/Detainee to receive one free On-Site visit per day.  These free visits must be scheduled at least 4 hours in advance, and are limited to the following times.

  • 1030-1055
  • 1200-1225
  • 1230-1300
  • 1300-1325
  • 1330-1400
