Press Release- Woodstock Man Arrested on Drug Charges

The McHenry County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Task Force arrested Raymundo Gomez, 23, of Woodstock on multiple drug charges after a four month narcotics investigation.  
On May 22, 2019, the Narcotics Task Force, the U.S. Marshal's Great Lakes Regional Fugitive  
Task Force, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Rockford Office arrested Gomez on a warrant at his residence in the 1000 block of Greenwood Circle in Woodstock.  During the course of his arrest, illegal drugs were observed which led to a search warrant of his residence. As a result, additional charges were filed against Gomez.    
At the conclusion of the investigation, detectives seized 150 grams of cocaine; 1 gram of MDMA; 341 grams of cannabis (which included THC cannabis wax and THC cannabis oil cartridges); 29 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms, 51 Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine pills, 30 Alprazolam pills, 6 Morphine pills, packaging material, drug paraphernalia and $2,511.00 United States Currency.  The estimated street value of the illegal drugs seized was $27,709.00.

reward up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the offender(s).

The charges against this individual is merely allegations against him. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
