Press Release- Armed Violence Drug Arrest Made after Traffic Stop

A traffic stop Wednesday led to the arrest of a Crystal Lake man by the McHenry County Sheriff's Office and charges of armed violence and drug possession. 

 A Deputy observed a Hyundai Sonata speeding and conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Route 31 and Route 176 in Crystal Lake.  During the traffic stop, deputies recovered a loaded Glock 19 pistol and small amounts of cocaine, cannabis and drug paraphernalia. The driver, Vincent A. Flaco, 27, was subsequently arrested and charged.

The charges against these individuals are merely allegations against them.  All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
